Rabbi Kanelsky Gives Chanukah Invocation at NJ Senate

(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) On Chanukah, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom gave the invocation at the New Jersey Senate in which he spoke about the miracle of Chanukah. He explained how the word Chanukah can be translated as chinuch, education, and he suggested dedicating the upcoming year 2022 to focusing on education. He stressed the importance of starting that focus at home, and then transmitting it to every public place.

Rabbi Kanelsky received a resolution signed by the governor and the lieutenant governor, proclaiming 120 days of education, beginning on Chanukah, in honor of the 120th birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Rabbi Kanelsky presented a menorah to outgoing Senate President Stephen Sweeney and to the incoming Senate President Nicholas Scutari.
