The Ramaz first graders have been working diligently on their personal narrative writing and were thrilled to showcase their hard work at their publishing party. Throughout this writing unit, students have engaged in every step of the writing process—brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing and finalizing their stories. They even added creative illustrations and used a checklist to ensure their pieces included all essential components. At the publishing party, students proudly shared their final “published” pieces with their peers and teachers, reflecting on how much their writing skills have grown and offering compliments about their classmates’ stories. It has been incredible to see their confidence and creativity shine.
