Rabbi Kelman is the director of the organization Route 613—Your Route to GeRut (conversion), a program of education and activities leading up to conversion. He has taught and overseen hundreds of students who have successfully converted. He will be discussing various aspects of conversion and will be joined by some of those who have completed the process and some of those who are on the road to becoming Jewish. Hear from the students themselves: Why do they want to be Jewish and what are the rewards and challenges of being a Jew By Choice?

Rabbi Kelman lives in Bradley Beach and Jerusalem and is the rabbi of Congregation Agudath Achim in Bradley Beach, New Jersey.
