(RJFL) Week six of the RJFL, sponsored by Whee/Sr Play, featured seven games, with four teams taking on doubleheaders. The Jewish Link Legends seized the opportunity to prove they belong among the league’s elite, delivering dominant performances with a combined score of 87-12 across their two games. Quarterback Noah Greenwald was unstoppable, throwing for 11 touchdowns and adding one on the ground. The Legends hope this momentum shift propels them toward a deep playoff run.
Judy Schmutter DDS came out strong in search of their first win of the season, taking a 20-13 lead over the Disciples of Discipline in the second half. However, the Disciples’ suffocating defense, highlighted by an impressive interception from Jonah Lubow, prevented Judy Schmutter DDS from holding onto their advantage. With a strong late-game performance, the Disciples secured a 32-20 victory, climbing to the top of the Teaneck conference standings.
