Sophomore Avi Bendory has been named regional champion of the National Bible contest for 2015. Avi will now compete in the national contest to be held in NYC on May 3rd. The winner of the national contest will become one of over 100 contestants from all over the world to participate in the international contest held in Israel on Yom Ha’atzmaut of 2016. The International Bible contest for Jewish youth (Chidon Hatanach ha’olami) is one of only two official events broadcast on national television and sponsored by the state of Israel on Israel’s independence day.
