We at The Jewish Link are proud that one of the brightest jewels of our community is SINAI Schools, which provides individualized day school and yeshiva high school education programs for our children with special needs. And this coming Sunday, a thousand of us, many with no children enrolled at SINAI, will attend this year’s SINAI Schools dinner at the Marriott Glenpointe in Teaneck. All across our region, from Riverdale and New Rochelle, from West Orange, Queens and everywhere in between, community members will travel to Teaneck to celebrate this unique organization that ensures that a day school education is available for every student.
As editors and publishers, we have attended this dinner and personally supported SINAI for many years. We can tell you for sure that all who attend the dinner come away knowing they and their communities are a beneficiary of SINAI’s vision, hope, hard work and educational achievement.
We want to say thank you to all of this year’s honorees; we know it’s not always easy to tell your story to the community, but we know that you do it for the betterment of SINAI’s students. Thank you to Rabbi Yosef Adler, Philip and Peggy Danishefsky, Brad Ruder and Rabbi Yehuda and Laurie Minchenberg.
SINAI Schools truly offers hope for families, improved self-esteem for our children with special needs, and provides excellence in both secular academics and Torah learning.
February 23 will be a magical night in Teaneck. As a result, there will be more achievements, big and small, in SINAI’s classrooms. When that happens, we all benefit and are grateful.
