Schechter students
celebrated Israel’s 68th birthday with classic Israeli dances in a morning rekudiyah; playing on the beach in Tel-Aviv; praying at the kotel in Jerusalem; fishing in Tiberias; and swimming through the coral reefs of Eilat. They floated in the Dead Sea, drank tea in a Bedouin tent and dug for ancient treasures in a makeshift sand dune. They capped off the day with a spirited zimriyah.
