This past Friday, Rav Dovid Hirsch, rosh hayeshiva at RIETS and rav at Beis Yosef in Passaic, and Rabbi Josh Blass, mashgiach at YU and rav of Kehillas Beis Yehuda in Monsey, came to speak to the students about Chanukah. The entire student body participated, generating energetic discussion and exciting debate among them. The shiurim were blends of lomdus, halacha and machshava, each delivered in unique and special ways.
