TABC’s Evening of the Arts was a wonderful program which displayed the wide breadth of artistic talent of its students. The night began with an art gallery curated by Mrs. Shankman with works created in her studio art classes, accompanied by poems from Mrs. Edelman’s and Mrs. Miller’s English classes.
Next up were the main performances, hosted by seniors Aharon Nissel and Yitzchak Tollinsky, who introduced each act and threw in short comedy routines in between. The program consisted of a scene from the play “Waiting for Godot,” performed by Aharon Nissel, Yitzchak Tollinsky, Rami Levin and Netzach Schuman. Jacob Tennenbaum and Boaz Kapitanker then acted out an original play “What Street” by Jacob Tennenbaum.
Musical acts included performances by Dovid Pearlman, Avrumi Davis, and a piece from Shim Craimer’s music and media class. The Envision Shakespeare team put on “Julius Caesar” Act 1 Scene 2, with Mikey Schwartz and Daniel Rothstein performing monologues. The evening concluded with a student film produced by Binyamin Schulhof, Avi Baer, Eli Schiff and Josh Goldman. Thanks to Jacob Gordon for sound effects and technical work and to.
