The TABC Storm wrestling team hosted the SAR Sting in their first home match of the season. Before the match, the school unveiled their newest Wittenberg banners, honoring wrestlers that have won their weight divisions in the past few years, including Daniel Delman ‘26, Noah Lebowitz ‘25, Shmuel Shulkes ‘25 and current assistant coach Izzy Meth ‘23. TABC was able to ensure it was a celebratory night both before and after, winning in overall matches 9-7.

Highlights included first career wins for freshmen Alexander Gilbert and Yehezkel Kapitanker. Gideon Haberman ‘28 completed an amazing double leg take down. Veteran Mati Sanders ‘26 completed the quickest pin of the night in his victory and Lebowitz mercied his opponent with the score in the match 20-5. The wrestling team is feeling pretty confident in their lead up to Wittenberg with wins already over Yeshiva League counterparts MTA and now SAR.
