The TABC Theater Department is currently at work rehearsing two one-act comedies by playwright Don Zoldis: “How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery” and “Dystopia! The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death.” The plays are parodies of the murder mystery and dystopian genres. Students have been having an absolute blast digging into the comedy of each piece. Since one of the goals of TABC’s theater department is to introduce students to a myriad of theater styles, Mrs. Rebecca Lopkin, TABC’s director of performing arts, chose these two pieces in contrast to last year‘s highly successful, but very serious production, “Lord of the Flies.”
