Sunday, December 29th saw two local rivals, TABC and MTA, meet in a close game. The game saw many lead changes as both teams exchanged foul shots and layups to keep the score within one. With eight seconds left, MTA’s Eli Lipner hit two foul shots to put MTA up by one. With five seconds left, the Storm raced down the court as Dan Polleyeff missed a tough floater, but Yehoshua Zirman, the scoring leader for the game with 26 points, was there for the tip in as time expired to give the Storm the 1 point victory.
It was a tough game back and forth but the Storm came out on top going into their tournament in Boston and upcoming game against Frisch.
