Teaneck Couple Reopens Kickboxing Studio in Englewood

In today’s culture where fitness is a priority for many and time is a commodity for most, people often choose studio workouts for efficient and effective results. Despite the ever-expanding menu of fitness options available today, kickboxing has prevailed as a balanced workout consisting of cardio training and strength training to help you burn fat and tone muscle in a short period of time.

Yael and Elnatan Rudolph of Teaneck are the proud new owners of “iLoveKickboxing” in Englewood. One of 300 locations nationwide, the studio is located in the heart of the Englewood shopping district, adjacent to ShopRite.

Inspired by their own personal struggles to lose weight, the Rudolphs, who combined have lost over 300 pounds, decided to purchase the franchise where they have been members for many years. Elnatan, a political consultant and former spin instructor, and Yael, a personal trainer and the senior girls’ fitness instructor at Ma’ayanot, credit a part of their weight loss success to a consistent exercise regimen.

While juggling a busy agenda, Yael values the benefits exercise brings to her daily life. “As a mom of four, I know how important it is to make time and take care of myself. It isn’t easy to fit it into the day with carpools, homework and just getting the kids out to school. I want to help others who feel that they just don’t have time to exercise get the best workout they can in just one hour,” expressed Yael.

Having explored fitness programs as both members and instructors, the Rudolphs understand what people want from an exercise studio. Together they are excited to create an inviting and positive experience for their clients.

According to Elnatan, exercise is an important state of mind, but like most things, the environment greatly influences one’s productivity. At their studio, friendly and educated instructors will always be on hand to engage members in a full body workout that is safe, effective and fun.

There are many psychological benefits that come with kickboxing. Yael describes the workout as the perfect antidote to a long day at the office or a rough day with the kids. For many, punching that bag offers a release that is healthy for the body and the mind.

The Rudolphs are hoping to incorporate women-only classes led by female instructors into the schedule. Monthly memberships offer clients unlimited classes and boxing gloves. There are also packages that can be purchased that include personal training sessions. Classes are approximately 60 minutes and are designed to allow members to challenge themselves at all levels, with two instructors guiding you at your specific pace.

The official grand opening will be held on Sunday, Feb. 3rd, featuring demo classes free of charge throughout the day. The Rudolphs welcome everyone to come out and give it a shot! For more information or to sign up for a free class, please visit www.ilovekickboxing.com.
