The Orthodox Union has extended its kashrut certification to the Teaneck Doghouse, at 1415 Palisade Avenue in Teaneck. The sports restaurant had previously been supervised by Rabbi Zushe Blech, z”l, who passed away earlier this year. On an interim basis, the restaurant was overseen by Rabbi Binyomin Taub until the new certification was obtained.
“We at the Teaneck Doghouse are proud to be under the kosher supervision of the OU, the world leader in kosher food supervision,” said Jonathan Gellis, one of the Doghouse’s partners. “The Teaneck Doghouse has always prided itself on serving fresh kosher food at a fair price in Teaneck’s most exciting locale. We believe that our new partnership with the OU will enable us to continue to grow and appeal to an even greater audience,” he added.
The Teaneck Doghouse will be open the entire Chol Hamoed Pesach, from Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. As in past years, a special menu has been prepared. “As always, we can’t wait to see you in the Doghouse!” said Gellis.
