The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize 11-year-old Shayna Spinowitz as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey (RYNJ) sixth grader has made quite the reputation for herself, leading teams to the championship in both the Yavneh Youth League (YYL) and Teaneck Baseball Organization (TBO). When asked about Shayna, RYNJ classmate Daniella Gutlove told The Jewish Link, “Shayna is a great baseball player and a sportstar on the field, but where she shines even brighter is off the field. She has a larger than life personality, she makes sure everyone is included and makes everyone around her feel like they are the stars.”
