(Courtesy of The Rabbi Sacks Legacy) The Rabbi Sacks Legacy has announced the launch of a new interactive activity designed for Passover, aimed at adults and teens. The activity, in the form of a scavenger hunt, is a creative way for families to celebrate the holiday while exploring its deeper meanings and significance.
Featuring 10 thought-provoking challenges and questions, as well as an answer card, the activity is available for download at www.rabbisacks.org/seder.
The inspiration for this scavenger hunt came from Rabbi Sacks’ essay, The Missing Fifth, in which he wrote: “Just as an x-ray can reveal an earlier painting beneath the surface of a later one, so beneath the surface of the Haggadah there is another pattern to be discerned.” The essay is also available for download on the activity page on the website.
“The Seder is a time for people to join together and share insights about Passover,” said Joanna Benarroch, chief executive of The Rabbi Sacks Legacy. “We are proud to offer this new activity, based on the teachings of Rabbi Sacks, to engage, challenge and inspire.”
