Year after year, Wine Enthusiast Magazine features 100 of the bestselling wines. This year, two wines from the Golan Heights Winery landed in the top 100 rankings: the Yarden Chardonnay 2012 placed in the “Top 100” and the Mount Hermon Red 2012 placed in the “100 Best Buys.” (A complete list can be found on the magazine’s website).
Included in the Top 100 list of best wines internationally, the Yarden Chardonnay 2012 is a pure delicacy. Rated with a score of 92, this wine is grown in the Golan at a height of 1,200 meters above sea level. These vineyards grow Chardonnay grapes of exceptional quality, bottled upon completion of the fermentation. This wine ages in French oak barrels for seven months.
Scoring 91 in “Best Buys,” the Mount Hermon Red wine is considered a symbol of Israel’s development. Mount Hermon Red leads sales for wines sold in Israel, and is considered the most popular wine. Aside from being a young wine, fruity and accessible to all, its quality is outstanding.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine is considered one of the most famous wine magazines internationally.
