The “Arts Brunch,” now in its third year, will present a program on Sunday, December 3. Funded in part by a grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, this is the second program of this season. The topic is “The Borsht Belt” and will be presented by well-known historical speaker Marty Schneit. Schneit has lectured at the New York Public Library, the 92nd Street Y and many Jewish and non-profit organizations. Of course, the nostalgic account will also discuss the decline of the Borscht Belt, and what remains today. A light bagel brunch buffet will be served. The cost is $8 ($5 for Y members). Reservations must be made in advance by calling Marcy Fox, senior adult director (x34), or Jani Jonas, assistant executive director, at (x19).
