Our society is facing a crisis of substance use that directly impacts young people of all communities, socio-economic sectors and demographics. The issues range from the dangers of experimentation and one-time use to abuse and addiction.
An upcoming webinar series will share key information vital to parents, grandparents and anyone who relates with teens and tweens. Experts will discuss the extent of the crisis, ways to help prevent the problem in your home and community, key medical facts and consequences, how to identify if your child has a problem, how to approach your child if there is concern and treatment and resources for help and support. Participants will also hear from a family that has gone through this challenge successfully.
The webinar series is convenient and anonymous. Just watch via your computer—available as a live session with Q&A of 40 minutes each or in a recorded version. There will be three sessions in the series. The live sessions to be held at noon on Wednesdays, September 14, 21 and 28. Sign up for the series or individual sessions. Registration is required for access to the webinars.
