(Courtesy of Yad Leah) This Chanukah over 1,000 volunteers participated in Yad Leah’s Share Your Light Campaign. With six open packing days at the Volunteer Center and warehouse in Passaic, volunteers packed 190 boxes to send to struggling families in Israel. Other families, shuls and organizations designed 880 customized gift packages, called Kesher Kits, filled with warm winter gear and notes of love during their Chanukah parties. Thank you to everyone who came together to provide warmth and love to families in need in Israel.
