The 12th Annual Yavneh Academy Benjamin Schwartz Memorial 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, November 13, at the Garden State Plaza. The event, named for the brother of Yavneh parent and Jewish Link co-publisher Mendy Schwartz, provides a wonderful opportunity for the greater community to join the Yavneh Academy family in support of the school. Last year, the 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk had over 800 participants and raised over $50,000 for Yavneh Academy scholarships.

Participants in the 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run/Walk will be treated to a pre-race workout and a buffet breakfast. At the culmination of the race, medals will be presented to the top runners in the various age categories. The Yavneh 5K is a great way to have fun, get in shape and raise money for a worthwhile cause.
