Yeshivat He’Atid’s early childhood classes were so excited to welcome P’nina Weinberg-Seplowitz, author of “Once Upon a Vegetable” into their classroom virtually. She read her book to the students, and everyone enjoyed the story about Oscar, who was on a quest for exciting new foods to eat. From the story, the children learned about different fruits and vegetables and how they positively impact the body. They learned that each fruit and vegetable has its own unique benefit and provides a special hint as to which part of the body they help. The students enjoyed this educational and entertaining story that also conveyed many important lessons about nature’s gifts.
