(Yeshivat Noam) Yeshivat Noam parents and alumni gathered together for the ninth annual 3-on-3 men’s basketball tournament. The event filled up quickly, with 16 teams angling to win the tournament. Parents and children filled the stands, enjoying the festive atmosphere, a plethora of food and the ability to cheer on their dads, sons, grandsons or brothers.
The teams initially played three round-robin games, which determined their seeding in the single elimination 16 team bracket. Returning event co-chairs, Alan Feder and Amir Bednarsh, joined together to seamlessly organize and manage all the logistics in what turned out to be an incredibly fun and competitive evening.
The final four teams featured the 2022 tournament champions from the class of 2014, Stevie Paul, Charlie Bendheim and Evan Chesner. In 2023, Stevie and Evan won the championship with Ozzie Jeselsohn, 2015. The championship game was a battle of parents vs. alumni, with youth coming through on top. The tournament runners-up were the 2021 championship team of Gavriel Feld, Moishi Zyskind and Jeremy Siegel. Congratulations to the 2024 champions, brothers Avi Nat (2013) and Sammy Nat (2015), joined by Ozzie Jeselsohn, who was also part of the reigning champions from 2023. An amazing time was shared by all the players and fans who attended to cheer on their families.
