In Mrs. Sarah Blum’s seventh grade English class, the students read and analyzed the poem “Casey at the Bat” by Ernest Thayer. After multiple closed readings, the students worked in groups to create dramatic presentations to represent the poem. It was “student fun” and another great way to help familiarize the students with the language and vocabulary of the poem.
