(Courtesy of MJE) Founded by Rabbi Mark Wildes, MJE Jewishly engages the tens of thousands of young unaffiliated Jews of New York City in Jewish life. Experiencing its warm and innovative programming, including Shabbat dinners, basic Judaism and Hebrew classes, explanatory Shabbat services, retreats, shabbatonim and trips to Israel, thousands of men and women in their 20s and 30s have been brought back to their Jewish roots, hundreds of whom are today living lives of Torah and mitzvot, and sending their children to yeshivot and Jewish day schools. In fact, 389 couples have met and married through MJE!
Since October 7, 2023, MJE’s enrollment is up by 37%. Please help MJE engage the many new 20- and 30-somethings who, as a reaction to the recent wave of antisemitism, are walking through their doors looking for community and connection. Sponsor a Basic Judaism Series ($1,000) or a single class ($180), Shabbat dinner for 100 people ($1,800) or a table ($180), an entire year of Torah study ($5,000) or a participant to join MJE on a volunteer trip to Israel ($1,000 per student).
To donate, checks made payable to MJE can be sent to MJE, 131 West 86 Street, 11th floor, New York, NY 10024 or online at jewishexperience.org
